The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking is a new UK product marking that is used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). UKCA Marking replaces the European CE Marking directive for any applicable products that are or will be placed in the GB market.

The UK Government announced that the deadline for when construction products need to use the UKCA mark has been extended it is the intention is to end recognition of the CE mark in GB on 30 June 2025.

Current rules, which allow for continued recognition of the CE mark, will remain in place until legislation is laid to end recognition of the CE mark.
